Cafe zum Sahneberg in Lohberg

A great place to recharge your batteries after hiking. We were lucky and even got a seat. What can I say: soooo great cakes! The choice was great! One cake is more beautiful than the other. At the end it made a giant cream puff and a piece of cake with brittle and chocolate. It was a dream ! Thank you for this great experience

Great to stop by Huge selection of cakes / pies. The view is a dream. The interior is very charming and rustic. Good service!

This is no longer a real insider tip (there is too much going on for that 😉), but it is definitely worth a visit. The finest cakes and pies. And the cream puffs ... meeega

Just great. A lot of choice of pies and cakes. You can sit inside and outside. Friendly staff. Price performance top. Always come back when we are in the region.

The cakes are super fresh and you get really big pieces. Very nice service and in a great location on the Osser. The snow report also offers apartments that are quite cheap and in a dream location.

An absolute must for everyone who loves cakes, but you shouldn't open it when you're not hungry, otherwise half of the cake will go back. Great !!!

Very nice terrace in a great area. The cake, the ice cream ... sensationally delicious. A must for a hike. Service was very friendly. Gladly again and again until I've tried everything. Nothing for the small appetite. Big pieces of cake !!! A pleasure!!!

Cafe Sahneberg is a "must" for every vacation. Very large St. cakes. Nice service. The only drawback, the sanitary facilities should be "overhauled". Have been driving with befriended families since 1991. At peak times with 5/6 families with up to 20 people. That only worked with a reservation. The ice cream sundaes are not to be despised either and are very tasty

Every year on vacation the Cafe Sahneberg is visited. Why ??? Because they have the best cakes and tarts for us there, and the service is always friendly and nice. Looking forward to next year 😊

It's really worth the journey here. A must see when you are around. Super delicious Eisbecker and cakes. Snacks are also offered. Note opening times. The best way to get there is with GPS :-)

Extremely unfriendly host. Was literally puked when entering the terrace, since we did not wear a face mask. Hadn't entered the bar at all. Coming after us, who also did not wear a face mask, were strangely not addressed. The quality of the cakes and sundaes is no longer comparable with the past. This was definitely our last visit there!

We were here for coffee today, there were three of us and we ordered coffee and cake. The cake slices are twice as high as a normal cake slice, I had a pear-poppy cake, it tasted very good. The piece of cake cost € 3.20, which I find cheap for such a large piece. The waitress was alone, but was still quick and friendly. We will definitely be back.

You should never go hiking on Tuesdays - otherwise you missed a wonderful, idyllic refreshments, class windbags and sundaes with a beautiful view of the countryside. The service is super friendly and fast, the prices absolutely reasonable. Here one likes to spend time, inside and outside. A very nice stop! Will gladly come back when we are close again :)

Perfect mountain coffee house! Such an incredible, beautiful view over the forests, and very nice interior with a lot of sunshine! Such a nice staff who let me in half an hour before actually opening! Strudel big as a main course and delicious! Excellent coffee!
